“Libellus” and “citatio” have special meanings in Canon Law. “Libellus” (“petition”, literally booklet) is a document that introduces a case into court. “Citatio” is a summons; it informs the respondent of the existence of a libellus, and calls for a formal written response to the claim. This little booklet was included in volume 2 of Scheible's Das Kloster, pp. 835-851. The date of 1508 is obvious spurious since the Jesuit Order wasn't created until 1554. Agrippa was only 22 at the time; his De Occulta Philosophia was finished in 1510.
Translation by Joseph H. Peterson, copyright 2000, is indicated in square brackets [...]. Part of the translation is from A. E. Waite, Book of Ceremonial Magic (p. 110, 329-333, etc.) but with substantial corrections. Waite also rearranged the text. Corrections to Waite are marked as follows:

[Conjuration of Usiel. |
|
Listen, O Usiel! I, N., an unworthy servant of God, conjure, demand, conquer and call you, O Spirit Usiel! not by my power but by the might, virtue, and power of God + the Father and by the complete redemption and salvation of God + the Son and by the might and victory of God + the Holy Spirit and by the strength of these most potent words:
Eli, eli, lama Assabthani! Emanuel + Hagios, Tetragrammaton + by Adonai, Ejeh + El-Shaddai + Chije + Ischyrion + Agla + Chat + et Hoim + Aron + Alpha and Omega: Ohoch + Lauth + Doffuaphi + Lohuffo + Rugo + Dolah + by the Lord Father + by Jesus Christ +, and by the Holy Spirit + Allelujah + by the God + of Abraham + the God of Isaac, the God + of Jacob. By the God of Moses his servant, who appeared on Mount Sinai and who led the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. By this I conjure you O spirit Usiel! Be either on high or in the abyss, in water or in fire, or in earth, I command thee Spirit Usiel, immediately to appear before me in a proper human shape. Show yourself visibly and modestly to submit and readily appear, and bring to me from of the depths of the earth or the sea, ninety-nine thousand in gold coins, half escudos and doubloons: in all tranquility and patience, without tumult, without any disturbance, to me or any person, bodies or souls of all creatures, without damage, without causing any blindness or trickery: without falsity or fallacy or sorrow, just as I have planned, without any danger, without muttering, without lightning or hail, without pride (*fear) and trembling, and place yourself outside this circle in that part which is so marked.
|
|
This I N. command you Usiel by all the sacred passion of Jesus Christ, and by all the pure occult mysteries of Jesus Christ, and by all the holy martyrs who gave up their bodies and lives for Christ, and by all the words from the mouth of the Creator of Heaven and of Earth pronounced against you evil spirits. These, O spirit Usiel, disturb you anew, twist and torture, as long and as often as my demands are to be carried out.
|
Amen! Amen! Amen!
|
Therefore do not be disobedient, for I N. conjure you, demand from you, and compel you, O Spirit Usiel, by the judgements of the Most High, and by the sea of fire which is before the face of the Divinity, and by his majesty, and by the angelic virtues of his omnipotence, and by that fire which is before the throne of GOD, and by the domination of the sacrosanct Trinity, and by the song which is continually sung before the throne of GOD by the holy angels: "Glory in the highest!" And by the most sublime wisdom of almighty GOD: and by the terrible power which shatters Heaven and Earth, and by the holy majestic names of God: Agla + Noab + Soter + Emanuel + Adomatai + Hurai + Amaton + Elle + Eloi + Vision + Adon + Madai + Prog + Josepha + Jonas + Calphia + Calphas; by the final and resolute day of Judgment by the might of Affei +; by the holy name Primeumaton +, which Moses called, and Dathan, Korah, and Abiron were swallowed up into caverns and abysses of the Earth (cf. Num. 16); by the might of the name Primeumaton, and by the help all the army of heaven, and by the power and might of these sacrosanct names: Chet + Heoti + Agla + Jad + Rabonni + Aglos + Zachlor + Septro + Phanuel + and Sion +. Onothion + Seneon + Olohe + Lamech +; and by the potent name of Jesus Christ, and by the most sublime name, at which all the world and the Infernal Abyss trembles: Dan + Ana + Agla + Loth + Bezer + Phanum.
Also like the spiritual efficacy of the words which changed bread and wine into the body of God: "This is my body" + "this is in my power and your God and Lord." O Merciful One + and Redeemer + of the world, have mercy on me! And this, I N. demand, O spirit Usiel, that being compelling to come here by all means, whether you are in Hell, or the Earth, or anywhere else you may be, and appear visibly in a beautiful human form, just like a modest man, submitting yourself to me, and obediently bringing before this circle, or in the place which is noted, ninety-nine thousand in gold coins, half escudos and boubloons, and accomplish my request perfectly. This I N. order you, O Spirit Usiel, not by my power, but by the strength, virtue, and power of God + the Father, and by the compelling of God + the Son, and by the proposition of God + the Holy Spirit, by the might of Tetragrammaton, Agla + Adonai. Amen! Amen! Amen!

[I cite, call down, demand, and exorcise you now: O Almaziel, Ariel, Anathamia,
Ezebul, Abiul, Ezea, Ahesin, and Calizabin, most holy angels of God, by all
Dominations, Thrones, Powers and angelic Principalities, and all the assembly of the saints,
and by the ineffable delight which that angel proclaimed to the shepherds the
incarnation or rather the birth of the saviour, and they themselves perceived. By the
twenty-four elders who sing unceasingly before the throne of God: Holy, Holy, Holy is
the Lord our God! and by the uncreated angel of the Covenant, namely Jesus, and by the
cherubim and seraphim, and all the archangels, and by the infinite omnipotence of God
within the perceptible circle, who created one and all with a word, that you would help
me in this arduous business in the same way that you helped Lot and Abraham when they
were entertaining you as a guest, and no less than Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samson, and
many others whom you have deemed worthy visit.]
So come o ye angelic ones in beautiful form, full of dignity and
brightness, and do all that I have requested, in the name of the
threefold Jehovah, whose praises all spirits sing ceaselessly giving
honour to the all powerful who is your Lord as he is mine. Amen.

CONJURATIO SPIRITVS,
QUI THESAURUM ABSCONDIDIT. |
[A conjuration for the spirit who has hidden treasure.] |
Cito, requiro et urgeo te, Spiritum humanum,
qui hanc domum frequentas et in vita tua thesaurum tuum in hac
domo sepelivisti seu abscondidisti; atque nuper: mense: die N.
nempe noctu N. circa N. horam sub forma ignis apud clibanum
ostendisti: per Deum Patrem; per Deum Filium; per Deum Spiritum Sanctum;
superbenedicti hujus nominis virtute e vestigio me accedas, idque,
quod probe scias velim, sine ullis corruscationibus, horribilibus
tonitruis vel aliis tempestatibus a te excogitatis, sine tremendo
virtutem Dei Patri, Filiique ejus super benedicti in unione Spiritus Sancti,

[I summon, require, and compel you, O human spirit,]
who frequentest this place, and in thy life hast interred
thy treasure herein, who also of recent time, to wit, in
the day or night of ...., about the hour of ...., hast shewn
thyself in the form of a fire at this spot: I conjure thee by
God the Father +, by God the Son +, by God the Holy Spirit +,
by the most glorious and Holy Mother + of God +, by the most
holy wounds of our Saviour, by all miracles performed through
His Divine sorrows, passion and tears, by His material death,
by His descent into Hell, by His triumphant Resurrection, by
His most glorious ascension into Heaven, by His sitting on the
right hand of
God the Father, giving rule to His angels from thence over
the whole earth +. I conjure thee by the terrible Day of Judgment +,
by the power and virtue of St. John the Baptist +, by all the
martyrs, apostles and prophets. Come to me. I adjure and beseech
thee by the terrible and ineffable and Divine Names inscribed on
this sheet, and in reverence and confession of their power, to
come before me, and to make thy sign visible, without lightning,
without thunder, without noise of dread tempests, without causing
fear or trembling, harm to body or soul, or annoyance of any kind.
But do thou perform my will in all things, even as I shall command
thee, by the virtue of the one stupendous and holy Name, which even
the adverse and inferior powers of the Abyss do venerate and adore,
ever confessing the Almighty, Whose creatures we all are. Be this
done by the virtue of God the Father +, by His blessed Son + and
by the union of the Holy Spirit +, even by the Trinity in unity,
Which liveth and reigneth for ever and ever. Amen +.

Incessanter te Spiritum humanum supra vocatum porto, inclamo,
triumphatorem, virumque septem gladiis munitum, sigillaque apperientem,
thesaurum tuum abscondidisti, coram circulo nostro jamjam appareas ad me,
Sancti adjuvante, Amen.

Incessantly do I call, adjure, conjure, ordain and require thee,
Human Spirit, by the Most Holy and Undivided Trinity, by the immortality
which cometh after death, by the power and victory of Hell, by the bearer
of the Seven Swords, by the Most Holy and Secret Seal, by the sacred love
of Jesus, by all the Ministers and Archangels of God Ophanim [Orphanim] +,
Aralim +, Hasmalim +, Cherubim +, Seraphim +, and Malachim +, and by the
terrible torments of the demons. I conjure thee also by the good angels
Maluzim [Malazim] +, Penpalabim [Peripalabim] +, and Calizantin +, by all
the powers of Heaven +, by the earth + and by the torments of Hell; I
adjure thee by all mysteries, by the Crucifixion, by the dolorous scourging,
by the crowing with thorns, by the bitterness of the divine death, by the
Most Holy and Ineffable Name of Jesus +, which is sacred unto all Christians,
but terror and anguish to the evil, for they have refused the salvation which
has been offered them by the great living God. I conjure thee to come before
me immediately, in thy proper human [and visible] form, even as [in life]
when thy treasure was buried. Come before this circle, answer me faithfully,
without falsehood and without enigmas. This I command thee, in the Name and
by the power of the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.
